Facilities Space Planning Project Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Space Coast, Florida, United States. Occasional travel to other hirify.global sites may be required. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. permanent residents, refugees, or asylees.

Base pay range for Washington applicants: $145,188.00–$203,263.20 annually; ranges may differ by site.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain comprehensive space plans aligned with organizational growth and business needs.
• Manage space planning projects from concept through occupancy, including scope, schedules, budgets, and stakeholder coordination.
• Analyze space utilization data and recommend ways to optimize existing facilities.
• Translate workforce forecasts into space requirements in partnership with HR, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders.
• Coordinate architects, interior designers, construction managers, vendors, furniture procurement, fit-outs, renovations, and move/add/change requests.
• Maintain CAFM/IWMS data, prepare reports and dashboards for senior leadership, and enforce space, move management, occupancy, building code, ADA, and life safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, facilities management, construction management, urban planning, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in facilities space planning, workplace strategy, or project management.
• Experience managing complex, multi-site space planning or capital projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit and experience with CAFM/IWMS platforms.
• Strong knowledge of workplace design standards, building systems, construction processes, space utilization metrics, and stakeholder management.
• Eligibility to work in the United States under the stated export control requirements.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree, PMP certification, CFM certification, or LEED accreditation.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or high-tech industries.
• Knowledge of BOMA measurement standards, campus master planning, sustainability, and energy-efficient facility design.
