Fire Protection Project Manager

Location: Remote within the United States, supporting the Nashville, Tennessee office. Willingness to travel less than 20% is required.

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage fire protection scopes and coordinate technical deliverables with multidisciplinary design staff.
• Develop fire protection designs for hyperscale data centers, mission-critical, federal, and industrial projects.
• Perform engineering calculations and analysis using available software.
• Produce 3D fire protection designs in Autodesk Revit and support BIM workflows.
• Navigate complex delivery schedules, prioritize overlapping project tasks, and maintain quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and fire protection design staff.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in design, consulting, or construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in fire protection engineering, engineering technology, or a similar ABET-accredited program.
• Experience applying NFPA, Unified Facilities Criteria, and building codes and standards such as IBC and SBC.
• Proficiency in fire protection design, Autodesk Revit, and BIM workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, planning, and time-management skills.
• Must be located in the United States and willing to travel less than 20%.

Nice to have

• Registered Professional Engineer license.
• Experience mentoring graduate-level engineering staff.
