Oncology Field Medical Outcomes Director (Oncology)

Location: Remote - Field Based, United States; based in California near San Diego, within a 2-hour drive of a major airport. Travel approximately 40–50% of the time, including overnight travel.

Salary: $176,600–$294,300 annual base salary, plus a 20% bonus target and eligibility for a share-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Provide oncology medical, clinical, and economic expertise to national and regional payers, specialty pharmacy providers, and other organized healthcare customers.
• Plan and execute medical account strategies, field medical engagements, presentations, and customer-specific collaborations.
• Develop and deliver real-world evidence tools, Health Outcomes Projects and Evaluations, educational programs, non-interventional studies, and pharmacoeconomic analyses.
• Support health information technology and clinical informatics initiatives by assessing workflows, organizational capabilities, feasibility, and clinical relevance.
• Analyze study design, methodology, healthcare data, and outcomes to identify opportunities for improving patient care, closing quality gaps, and supporting population health.
• Coordinate with Medical Affairs, HEOR, Field Medical, account teams, research teams, and healthcare stakeholders to advance oncology medical objectives and site partnerships.

Requirements

• PharmD required; BCOP preferred.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, 7 years with a master’s degree, or 5 years with a terminal degree.
• Experience in clinical, formulary, managed care, pharmaceutical industry, quality improvement, data analytics, HEOR, or health services research.
• Significant experience interacting with payers and other organized healthcare customers, with strong study design, data analysis, interpretation, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to operate a hirify.global company car and travel regularly by air.
• Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
