Senior Director, People Partners (Remote)

Location: Fully remote; supports a US-based HQ workforce and requires fluency in multi-state US employment law.

Salary: $230,000–$255,000 annual base salary, plus stock options.

What you will do

• Lead and evolve the HRBP function as a strategic organizational capability.
• Partner with senior leaders on organizational design, team structures, decision rights, restructuring, and change management.
• Build manager capability, feedback systems, coaching infrastructure, succession planning, and leadership development.
• Identify systemic people issues using HR data and workforce analytics, then design and scale repeatable solutions.
• Own employee relations and compliance risk for the remote HQ workforce, including performance management and wage-and-hour matters.
• Manage, coach, and develop a small team of HRBPs while partnering with Talent Acquisition on hiring quality and structured interviews.

Requirements

• 10–12+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant senior HRBP or HR leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
• Experience supporting mixed workforces in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments.
• Fluency in multi-state US employment law and experience handling wage-and-hour complexity for non-exempt populations.
• Experience building or rebuilding HR infrastructure in a growth-stage or rapidly scaling company.
• Experience with organizational design, manager capability, HR data, workforce insights, technology-enabled workflows, and structured written communication.

Nice to have

• Professional HR certification such as SPHR or SHRM-SCP.
• Master’s degree.
