Accounts Payable Analyst (Insurance)

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home

What you will do

• Support the Accounts Payable team with expenditure processing, evaluation, reporting, and control procedures.
• Investigate unusual or erroneous banking transactions and returns.
• Initiate wire, ACH, and check disbursements.
• Enter payment requisitions in Workday and complete quality and accuracy checks.
• Coordinate with approvers to ensure accurate expense coding and respond to internal and external disbursement queries.
• Handle checks and perform additional duties and projects requested by management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounts payable processing experience in a fast-paced department.
• Knowledge of ACH transfers and wire payments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and explain complex issues, manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently and collaboratively.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
• Visa or work authorization sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Workday General Ledger and Accounts Payable experience.
• Associate degree in Accounting or Finance.
