Mechanical Apprentice (Automotive)

Location: CAN - ON - Brampton (Toronto)

Salary: $28.00–$32.00 CAD per hour, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and other relevant factors.

What you will do

• Perform pre-sale, post-sale, frame, and general vehicle inspections, including test drives.
• Diagnose vehicle issues and identify required repairs using OEM diagnostic methods.
• Complete oil and fluid changes, tire changes, and other routine maintenance.
• Assist with brake, exhaust, front-end alignment, ball joint, and air-conditioning repairs.
• Maintain auction vehicles, support general shop operations, and move vehicles as needed.
• Assist with complex repairs, parts sourcing, quotes, and work orders when required.

Requirements

• Registered Level 3 or Level 4 Mechanical Apprentice actively working toward a 310S license.
• Previous dealership experience and 1–3 years of experience repairing and servicing mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems.
• Proficiency with OEM diagnostics and ownership of personal tools.
• Valid G license and a clean driver's abstract.
• Basic computer skills, proficient smartphone use, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a reliable work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with schedule flexibility that may include Saturdays.

Nice to have

• Strong desire to obtain the Red Seal / 310S qualification.
