Health & Environmental Program Manager (Industrial Hygiene)

Location: On-site in Hillsboro, Oregon, with eligibility for hybrid work

What you will do

• Conduct industrial hygiene monitoring for air quality, noise, chemical exposure, and other workplace hazards.
• Manage chemical inventories, SDS documentation, labeling, chemical reduction, and substitution initiatives.
• Coordinate ergonomic assessments of workstations and production environments and support corrective improvements.
• Manage hazardous waste storage, labeling, disposal, pickups, manifests, permits, and SPCC plan requirements.
• Coordinate safety training and maintain related materials, records, reports, and compliance tracking.
• Support emergency preparedness, spill response procedures, hygiene monitoring, and corrective action planning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, including 2+ years in ergonomics, industrial hygiene, and environmental regulations.
• Extensive knowledge of emergency response and hazardous materials handling.
• Required knowledge of EPA hazardous waste regulations and NIOSH workplace exposure-limit guidelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively; ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
