AVP, Assistant General Counsel (Healthcare Services)

Location: Remote within the United States; Nashville, Tennessee preferred.

Salary: $190,000–$210,000 annually, plus an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Provide legal advice and support on practice operations, transactions, and complex business matters.
• Develop relationships with local radiology practices and business leaders to identify legal risks and business needs.
• Draft and negotiate employment agreements, services agreements, business deals, and other legal documents.
• Advise practice leadership on legal arrangements, disputes, audits, litigation matters, and corporate governance.
• Manage and coordinate matters with outside counsel.
• Build and refine systems and processes for delivering legal services across a nationwide organization.

Requirements

• J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law and membership in good standing with a state bar.
• 6+ years of combined corporate, transactional, or operations experience in a law firm and/or in-house healthcare environment.
• Strong understanding of legal and business factors related to healthcare services.
• Strategic thinking, practical legal judgment, strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information independently and effectively.
