Corporate Counsel (Digital Health)

Location: Hybrid role based at the headquarters in Tribeca, New York City, with at least 4 days in the office each week. Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States.

Salary: $145,000–$189,000 base salary annually, plus performance-based cash bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Own the full commercial contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, redlining, negotiating, and executing NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, vendor agreements, consulting agreements, and BAAs.
• Advise Operations, IT, business development, and other teams on commercial contracting matters.
• Build and maintain contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and approval guardrails.
• Support the privacy program, including HIPAA, state and international privacy laws, data processing agreements, and privacy impact assessments.
• Advise on AI-related legal and regulatory questions, including AI vendor terms and use-case implications.
• Support corporate governance, policy development, compliance initiatives, outside counsel coordination, and legal research.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing; New York admission is preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant commercial contracting experience in-house or at a law firm.
• Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Experience with or strong interest in privacy law, including HIPAA, CCPA, other state privacy laws, and GDPR.
• Ability to independently own matters, exercise business judgment, and provide clear practical guidance to non-lawyers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and curiosity about AI’s legal and regulatory landscape.

Nice to have

• Experience in digital health, life sciences, or SaaS.
• Prior privacy experience.
