Project Estimator (Construction)

Location: Permanent work from home; schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM–3:30 PM US Pacific Time (California), 40 hours per week.

What you will do

• Review construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and project documentation.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, budgets, forecasts, bid packages, and requests for quotations.
• Analyze project requirements, risks, opportunities, and cost-saving measures.
• Coordinate activities with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, deadlines, budgets, changes, and change orders.
• Maintain project records and provide status updates to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in construction estimating, project coordination, or project management.
• Ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Availability for the stated US Pacific Time schedule.

Nice to have

• Experience with commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Buildertrend, PlanSwift, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Excel, or Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to learn new construction management and estimating software.
