Experienced Investment Banking Analyst 2, Diversified Industrials

Location: On-site in Chicago, IL; the position description specifies the Boston, MA office.

Salary: $95,000–$115,000 per year, plus eligibility for applicable variable compensation programs.

What you will do

• Develop financial models for a wide range of client-specific projects.
• Support mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, private placements, and other advisory assignments.
• Prepare research and analytical content for pitch books, memorandums, presentations, and related materials.
• Support senior investment bankers with business development activities.
• Attend client meetings and discuss transactional and technical matters.
• Participate actively in live transactions while collaborating with analysts, senior bankers, and managing directors.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in investment banking or related transaction-focused fields such as accounting, consulting, or corporate finance.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 3.5 GPA.
• Strong financial knowledge, including financial modeling, macroeconomics, and current events.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, teamwork, judgment, discretion, and work ethic.
• Flexibility to work long hours, nights, and weekends when required.

Nice to have

• Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79, and Series 63 licenses.
