Vice President, Portfolio Manager – Fixed Income

Location: Hybrid, working 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely from Bermuda, New York City, or Warren, New Jersey

Salary: $220,000–$250,000 annually

What you will do

• Actively manage investment-grade fixed income portfolios to generate excess returns and stable net investment income within risk, ALM, and guideline constraints.
• Develop fixed income alpha-generation ideas, coordinate trading across external managers, and report performance results.
• Conduct market and portfolio surveillance, maintain credit watchlists, and recommend escalations for credit risks.
• Lead external manager searches, RFP/RFQ processes, due diligence, and ongoing performance surveillance.
• Support new portfolio and strategy launches, including implementation planning and resource coordination.
• Partner with treasury, finance, and investment stakeholders to improve ALM, information systems, data, tooling, and reporting workflows.

Requirements

• 7+ years of fixed income experience, preferably with a corporate credit background.
• MBA or CFA designation preferred.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement from Bermuda, New York City, or Warren, New Jersey.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration, ownership, and work ethic.
