Location: Ontario, Canada; community-based care and access to a vehicle are required.

Salary: $44.37–$57.90 per hour

What you will do

  • Lead the day-to-day clinical and administrative operations of the Assertive Community Treatment team, including staff coverage and daily assignments.
  • Coordinate client admissions, assessments, treatment planning, rehabilitation, support services, and changing care needs with the psychiatrist and multidisciplinary team.
  • Supervise staff through education, in vivo coaching, performance support, recruitment participation, orientation, and work assignment coordination.
  • Carry a small client caseload and provide support to the Early Psychosis Intervention program, clients, and family members.
  • Monitor medical records, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes for compliance and quality.
  • Maintain relationships with community organizations, employers, government officials, hospital departments, and program partners while supporting ACT fidelity, accreditation, research, and quality assurance.

Requirements

  • Master’s-level education and registration with an eligible Ontario governing body for psychotherapy, occupational therapy, psychology, social work, social service work, or physiotherapy.
  • Three to five years of clinical or community experience providing direct services to clients with severe and persistent mental illness.
  • Understanding of the Mental Health Act, health system navigation, Ontario ACT Standards, and Early Psychosis Intervention Program Standards.
  • Valid G driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Strong knowledge of community resources, multidisciplinary care, electronic documentation systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced community-care environment, with strong organization, communication, relationship-building, and counselling skills.

Nice to have

  • At least one year of formal or informal leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience providing consultation to multidisciplinary professionals from varied backgrounds.
