Counselor Supervisor

Location: On-site in Gretna, Louisiana, USA

Salary: $62,000–$72,000 per year plus bonus structure.

What you will do

• Supervise, mentor, and provide feedback to counselors working toward certification or licensure.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions and provide regular clinical supervision.
• Develop and revise patient treatment plans, document patient contacts, and coordinate case-management follow-ups.
• Lead treatment team meetings, implement new programs, and advise on caseload management.
• Coordinate care with community providers, conduct crisis interventions, and participate in peer file reviews.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements and assess clinical service quality.

Requirements

• Active licensure as LCSW, LAC, or LPC is required.
• Knowledge of human behavior, rehabilitation of drug-dependent patients, substance abuse populations, and treatment planning.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal communication, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and handle confidential and sensitive issues.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with office equipment.
• Ability to work in an on-site medical office environment in Gretna, Louisiana.
