Mobile Application Developer (Android Developer)

Location: Onsite in McLean, Virginia; applicants must currently reside in the United States.

Salary: USD $140,770–$180,280 per year

What you will do

• Design and develop custom software tools and techniques for the Android platform.
• Own end-to-end development, including requirements, design, implementation, testing, debugging, and sustainment.
• Diagnose and debug issues using COTS/GOTS tools and internal frameworks.
• Apply networking concepts, socket programming, and protocol knowledge to tool development.
• Produce operational, maintenance, and support documentation.
• Mentor junior developers and solve time-sensitive cyber problems.

Requirements

• Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, or the ability to obtain one.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience developing, testing, and debugging in Python and C, including UNIX applications built with make files or similar environments.
• Experience developing CNO tools and techniques, reverse engineering native binaries, and creating proof-of-concept exploit software.
• Strong socket programming and packet-level understanding of IP, TCP, and application-layer protocols.
• Experience with debuggers and analysis tools such as WinDbg, gdb, and IDA Pro, plus knowledge of OS internals and modern exploit mitigations.

Nice to have

• Native Android/NDK or similar mobile development experience.
• Vulnerability analysis experience and ARM assembly familiarity.
• Knowledge of SELinux, application sandboxing, and mobile security protections.
• Experience with Objective-C, Swift, and C++.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
