Sr. Manager Software Development, Enterprise Security Products (AI)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States

Base salary: $220,100–$297,700 USD annually, plus sign-on payments and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Build and lead multiple engineering teams, recruiting, developing, and retaining engineering talent.
• Set the technical vision, product strategy, and multi-year roadmap for AI-powered security products.
• Establish AI-first development practices across coding, design, testing, and delivery workflows.
• Manage concurrent initiatives, decompose ambiguous problems, remove blockers, and accelerate product delivery.
• Guide decisions on agentic systems, RAG architectures, conversational interfaces, intelligent automation pipelines, and build-versus-buy strategy.
• Own reliability, performance, security, operational excellence, cross-organizational influence, and leadership development.

Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• 5+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 10+ years of planning, designing, developing, and delivering consumer software.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects, and development teams in an Agile environment.
• Experience with AI/ML technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and developing large-scale, high-traffic applications.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience building engineering teams and culture in an early-stage or greenfield environment.
