What you will do

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams (backend, frontend, SDET, DevOps) across Core API and Cloud Provisioning domains.
• Drive roadmap execution and technical strategy for critical infrastructure powering the platform's API gateway.
• Scale API gateway infrastructure and implement AI-powered SKU enablement and service orchestration workflows.
• Ensure robust audit data pipelines and maintain enterprise-grade security and compliance standards.

Requirements

• 15+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in engineering management roles.
• Experience building and maintaining API Gateway infrastructure and traffic management systems.
• Knowledge of AI MCP (AI Model Control Plane) or similar AI orchestration platforms.
• Strong expertise in Golang and building large distributed systems at scale.
• Experience shipping high-quality software in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Must be based near Sunnyvale, CA for a hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• Experience with cybersecurity products and compliance frameworks like SOC2 or FedRAMP.
• Proficiency with Kafka, ElasticSearch, Postgres, Redis, or SpiceDB.
• Familiarity with API Gateway technologies such as Kong, AWS API Gateway, or Envoy.
• Experience with AI/ML model deployment and monitoring.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, SSO, OIDC, JWT).
