What you will do

• Define how AI automation and human operators share responsibility during alarm incidents.
• Own the real-time workflow engine that models response actions after alarms are triggered.
• Lead the vision-language pipeline that adapts standard operating procedures during incidents.
• Set reliability standards for a mission-critical platform with no acceptable silent failure mode.
• Hire, mentor, and scale the engineering team while partnering with product management and monitoring operations.
• Extend the alarm response layer across the broader hirify.global platform and emergency dispatch integrations.

Requirements

• 2+ years leading, mentoring, and scaling engineering teams.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience building scalable, reliable distributed systems.
• Experience with real-time or high-availability systems where latency and uptime have significant consequences.
• Demonstrated ability to drive product outcomes in close collaboration with product management.
• Employment visa sponsorship is available for this role.

Nice to have

• Experience architecting and deploying AI-driven workflows in production, especially when model output triggers real-world action.
• Background in mission-critical B2B software or hardware-software systems deployed in the field.
