What you will do

  • Ensure reliable operation and maintenance of mechanical and HVAC systems, including oil-free air, chilled water, boiler, environmental abatement, and compliance exhaust systems.
  • Design, evaluate, and troubleshoot mechanical systems, identify root causes, and implement performance improvements.
  • Develop scopes of work for mechanical infrastructure projects and review system designs for functionality, reliability, and compliance.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and testing for new or modified system designs, including design validation and prototype testing.
  • Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, operations, and maintenance teams to deliver effective engineering solutions.
  • Develop long-term mechanical system roadmaps and asset replacement strategies supporting facility growth and expansion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant STEM field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Materials Science, with 0–1 years of relevant experience through internships, academic projects, coursework, laboratory work, or hands-on training.
  • Alternatively, a master’s degree in a relevant STEM discipline with no prior professional experience required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrated through academic, internship, research, or project experience.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Initiative, curiosity, willingness to learn, and interest in developing innovative engineering solutions.
