Staff Product Designer (AI)

Salary: $200,000–$290,000 USD or $180,000–$260,000 USD annually, depending on work location, experience, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end product design from ambiguous requirements through wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and shipped experiences.
• Design AI-powered tools for crisis planning, geospatial visualization, human-agent collaboration, dashboards, alerting, and analytical reporting.
• Develop techniques for using AI in design systems and design processes.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to define product direction, resolve tradeoffs, and launch coherent experiences.
• Collaborate directly in code with engineers to refine implementable designs.
• Work with customers and senior stakeholders during discovery, feedback, and post-launch phases, while contributing patterns to the broader platform.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of product design experience across varied design settings and problem types.
• Experience leading end-to-end B2B or enterprise product experiences.
• Ability to clarify ambiguous requirements and simplify dense, complex systems.
• Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills with senior stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of front-end development and experience collaborating directly with engineers on implementable designs.

• Experience presenting directly to senior stakeholders in client-facing roles.
• Exposure to AI/ML tools and use of AI in design workflows.
• Experience contributing to design systems or shared interaction patterns across products or teams.
