Location: San Francisco, United States

Salary: $237,000–$398,000 total target cash, inclusive of bonus or commission, based on location.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end design across ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives from problem framing through polished execution.
• Define the design strategy for Wave’s opportunity feed, signal review and evidence, specification and plan creation, and outcome tracking experiences.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, executive leadership, Product Marketing, and customers to shape direction and launch products.
• Drive alignment through storytelling, facilitation, and research synthesis.
• Mentor designers and contribute to design craft, strategic thinking, and design culture.
• Deliver high-quality user experiences, with the option to ship front-end code directly to the product.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design leadership for complex or ambiguous products, platforms, or systems.
• Ability to create clarity in ambiguous problem spaces, align cross-functional partners, and deliver elegant solutions.
• Experience designing and shipping features powered by AI.
• Strategic and visionary approach with a builder’s mindset, strong design craft, and a bias for action and iteration.
• Clear communication, persuasive storytelling, and experience mentoring designers.
