Compliance Specialist

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, United States; hybrid

hirify.global provides specialty insurance products and operates an insurance regulatory compliance program.

What you will do

• Coordinate regulatory complaints and manage the consumer complaint register.
• Prepare, submit, and manage standard regulatory filings.
• Review administrative circulars, bulletins, letters, and related documents to identify compliance obligations and business impacts.
• Partner with underwriting, claims, legal, and business leaders to implement regulatory changes.
• Conduct internal reviews, support compliance reporting and audits, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and review reports and responses for management and regulatory submission, including special projects.

Requirements

• Two-year degree and two years of related experience, or one to three years of insurance industry experience.
• Understanding of insurance concepts and regulations, including coverage and rating for property and casualty commercial lines.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to research and communicate the impact of regulatory and industry changes across departments.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, independent work ability, and capacity to manage concurrent deadlines.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience handling complaints and drafting responses.
• Experience with State Departments of Insurance and Workers’ Compensation Commissions.
• Insurance Compliance certification.
