Senior Insurance Product Compliance Professional (Insurance)

Location: Remote Nationwide, United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices may be required for training or meetings.

Salary: $78,400–$107,800 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Research and analyze state and federal healthcare and insurance regulations, including requirements from state Departments of Insurance and CMS.
• Draft generic and state-specific policy and certificate language for Individual Specialty insurance products.
• Coordinate product filings, form implementation, annual On-Exchange filings, and regulatory approval activities.
• Review policy forms for quality, compliance, accuracy, and readability.
• Prepare responses to regulatory objections, examinations, inquiries, and filing issues.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, support process improvements, and train associates on compliance and filing requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare or insurance compliance.
• At least 5 years of healthcare or insurance industry experience.
• Knowledge of healthcare and insurance laws, regulations, policy language, and state and federal filing requirements.
• Ability to research and analyze state laws and regulations and resolve complex compliance issues.
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Excellent written and oral communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Auditing, consulting, project coordination, or project management experience.
• Experience with SERFF, annual On-Exchange ACA form submissions, or HIOS systems.
• Experience with stand-alone Dental and Vision insurance products.
• Experience creating and delivering reports and presentations.
