Engineering Manager (Energy)

Location: Remote, Texas, United States

Salary: $170,000–$200,000 annual base pay

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for systems built with .NET, C#, legacy Delphi, and AWS-native services.
• Lead modernization initiatives, including migrating legacy workloads to AWS serverless and managed cloud services.
• Manage, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary software engineering team.
• Partner with Product Management and cross-functional teams on priorities, roadmaps, and delivery objectives.
• Own end-to-end feature and platform delivery, including Agile ceremonies, sprint execution, and production readiness.
• Improve security, reliability, scalability, observability, monitoring, incident response, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering leadership or technical team lead experience and 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET, C#, enterprise application development, and supporting or modernizing legacy Delphi systems.
• Experience building and operating cloud-native systems on AWS, including Lambda, RDS, and S3.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience leading teams delivering distributed, event-driven, mission-critical systems.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, cloud-native architecture, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
