Associate Director, Product Software Engineering

Location: USA - Coppell, TX. Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a hirify.global office during the recruitment process.

Compensation: $133,400.00–$238,400.00 USD, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

• Lead multiple related software engineering departments and guide strategic implementation of software solutions.
• Make decisions on project prioritization, resource allocation, and technical approaches.
• Develop objectives and strategies for software projects aligned with business goals.
• Monitor development processes, framework adoption, architectural patterns, and engineering standards.
• Build cohesive engineering teams, conduct performance evaluations, and coach team members.
• Collaborate across a matrixed organization to deliver products and resolve complex technical challenges.

Requirements

• Experience with product software engineering across design, development, testing, deployment, and quality assurance.
• Knowledge of DevOps, automation, continuous delivery, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with cloud computing, APIs, application security, and software frameworks.
• Ability to apply architectural patterns and modern software engineering standards.
• Strong people management, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with resource planning and financial budget management.
