General Liability Claim Representative

Location: Hybrid, GA - Alpharetta, United States

Salary: $67,000.00–$110,600.00 annual base salary, with eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Manage an active caseload of low- to moderately complex personal and business general liability claims from first notice of loss through resolution.
• Investigate coverage, liability exposure, bodily injury, and property damage; establish reserves and issue accurate payments within authority.
• Communicate professionally with customers, claimants, attorneys, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Negotiate claim settlements, resolve disputed claims, and handle low-complexity litigation.
• Maintain accurate claim records and adapt to technology implementations, including AI-related tools and digital rollouts.
• Acquire and maintain required insurance licenses within three months of starting the job.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least one year of bodily injury liability, property damage liability, or comparable claims experience, or successful completion of the required hirify.global training program.
• Two years of liability, bodily injury, or comparable experience preferred, with an active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Experience with claims management systems, Microsoft Office, and enterprise technology platforms.
• Strong communication, customer service, analysis, judgment, organization, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Working knowledge of insurance principles, policy language, state regulations, claim-handling requirements, and fair claims practices.
