Field Service Team Lead (Installations)

Location: Scotland West Region, United Kingdom; on the road and at customer sites

Pay: £20 per hour

Develops retail AI solutions using deep-learning computer vision and shelf-mounted cameras to automate and optimise brick-and-mortar retail operations.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate Field Service Technicians during customer-site installations.
• Mount, connect, configure, onboard, and scan camera hardware in line with installation standards.
• Conduct pre-installation checks, site briefings, safety procedures, and issue escalation.
• Act as the primary customer contact and ensure service-level commitments are met.
• Review and sign off completed installations, maintain records, and track parts and time.
• Train team members and deliver speed and quality KPIs across installation projects.

Requirements

• Previous field technician experience in field service, installation, construction, or a related area, including experience leading or supervising others.
• Strong leadership, coordination, communication, troubleshooting, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with power tools and installation equipment.
• Physical stamina for standing and performing demanding work for periods of up to 9 hours.
• Full valid UK driving licence and reliable transportation are required.
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends is required.

Hiring process

• Fixed-term contract for 6 months, with a possibility of extension.
