What you will do

• Develop PVD processes to meet technology roadmap targets and customer requirements
• Design experiments, assess results using analytical equipment and software
• Perform problem-solving, troubleshooting, and metrology such as SEM
• Provide updates to management, summarize results in reports or presentations
• Research literature, write invention disclosures, patent applications, and technical papers
• Collaborate with teams, advise field teams on process development and tuning, and manage projects

Requirements

• Location: Based in Newport, United Kingdom
• Knowledge/experience of thin film deposition techniques, plasma systems, high vacuum technology
• Ability to design experiments, analyze data, and solve complex problems
• Good analytical skills including metrology (e.g., SEM)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Work autonomously and in teams
• Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's in Physics, Chemistry, or Material Science with related experience
