Maintenance Technician Atlas Copco

Location: On-site in New Hudson, United States; 3rd shift, 10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.

What you will do

• Repair and perform preventive maintenance on factory equipment and site facilities.
• Service cold headers, heat-treatment furnaces, plating lines, high-speed sorting equipment, collation systems, conveyors, and motors.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and resolve equipment problems promptly.
• Install equipment and support upgrades in collaboration with vendors, riggers, and millwrights.
• Follow safety procedures, including Lock Out/Tag Out and stored-energy reduction guidelines.
• Provide equipment-status updates and contribute to continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and servo motor systems.
• Experience with CMMS, electrical control-circuit troubleshooting, basic electrical prints, and electrical standards.
• Experience installing new systems or upgrading existing equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; related certifications are applicable.
• Ability to periodically lift up to 75 pounds and climb ladders or stairs while working at height.

Nice to have

• Electrical certification.
• Basic welding and fabrication skills.
• Experience training junior apprentices in equipment repair and maintenance.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
