Quality Assurance Tester III

Location: Remote with periodic onsite support and occasional travel

What you will do

• Develop test plans, strategies, procedures, and test cases across the software development lifecycle.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, security, performance, user acceptance, and end-to-end testing.
• Support automated testing frameworks, scripts, CI/CD pipelines, Agile teams, and DevSecOps environments.
• Validate software requirements, maintain traceability documentation, and manage discrepancy and defect tracking.
• Coordinate release validation and deployment testing across multiple releases and environments.
• Produce testing metrics, quality reports, and release-readiness assessments while collaborating with requirements managers, developers, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional experience in software testing, quality assurance, test engineering, software validation, or application testing.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or a qualifying degree in computer science, cybersecurity, data science, information systems, information technology, or software engineering.
• Security+, CEH, CFR, GSEC, Cloud+, PenTest+, SSCP, or qualifying degree.
• Experience with test management, defect tracking, requirements validation, and traceability documentation.
• Experience supporting cloud-hosted and enterprise business applications, Agile software development teams, and federal, DoD, or highly regulated systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, and successfully pass a drug and background check.

Nice to have

• ISTQB or CSTE certification.
• Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, ReadyAPI, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or GitLab/GitHub.
• Experience with API testing, test automation, cloud testing, and security testing.
