What you will do

• Develop functional testing scenarios, detailed test cases, test data, procedures, and testing scripts.
• Create and execute functional, regression, integration, data migration, service-layer, data-layer, web UI, and performance tests.
• Use testing and automation tools, validate and document defects, and respond to developer questions about test results.
• Maintain DSTRs, track testing progress, and communicate issues, risks, and level-of-effort estimates.
• Coordinate with federal, contractor, business, and technical leads to clarify requirements and conduct User Acceptance Testing.
• Support test leads and managers in refining testing approaches, automation, tools, and documentation.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of IT industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience with Agile methodology, multiple SDLC models, test planning, functional testing, regression testing, and automated test scripts.
• Experience testing Java, .NET, web, SOA, and ETL-based applications across multiple application layers.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Oracle and MS Access; intermediate experience with Unix and Windows.
• Ability to pass a Tier 2/Modest Background Investigation.
