Software Test Engineer

TL;DR

What you will do

• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test descriptions, documentation, and reports.
• Execute functional, integration, and system-level testing throughout the software lifecycle.
• Apply recognised software testing standards and methodologies.
• Work with development teams to investigate, track, and resolve defects.
• Support software releases through verification and validation activities.
• Contribute to Agile quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Mid-level to senior experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong experience creating and maintaining test descriptions and test documentation.
• Experience with CI/CD environments and modern software delivery pipelines.
• Knowledge of defect management, test execution, and validation processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong analytical, organisational, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience writing and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience with DOORS requirements management tools.
• ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent testing experience.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles.
