Manufacturing Engineer (Engineering Changes & Documentation Control) (SolidWorks)

What you will do

• Process engineering change orders to update technical documentation, mechanical drawings, bills of materials, branding, and product specifications.
• Review and revise tolerances, GD&T, and configuration management records.
• Maintain documentation control procedures and data integrity in PLM and ERP systems.
• Support inventory stock sorts and identify parts requiring rework, modification, or updates.
• Coordinate rework activities with production teams and machine shop personnel to reduce downtime and clear backlogs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that reduce manufacturing costs and streamline production workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent education and experience.
• 0–2 years of professional experience in a manufacturing or production engineering environment.
• Practical experience with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or an equivalent tool.
• Knowledge of documentation control, BOMs, engineering drawings, and configuration management.
• Basic exposure to ERP, PLM, or enterprise data management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, project coordination, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on machining experience and strong tolerancing skills.
• Exposure to Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or root-cause analysis.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Experience with Visual Manufacturing, Omnify, Agile, EPDM, or similar ERP and PLM platforms.
