TL;DR
Analytics Engineer (Epic Healthcare IT): Supporting Epic healthcare applications through maintenance, validation, testing, troubleshooting, upgrades, and documentation with an accent on provider and payer workflows. Focus on learning Epic terminology, handling security and access requests, documenting technical work in Jira, and developing specialization through structured onboarding.
Location: Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico; hybrid workplace. Must be comfortable working U.S. business hours.

What you will do
- Execute routine maintenance, validation, and application support tasks for Epic healthcare applications under supervision.
- Assist with test execution, ticket updates, documentation, basic troubleshooting, and support records.
- Support scheduled upgrades, onboarding activities, and security or access requests across provider and payer workflows.
- Participate in department build support and payer-platform support activities, including claims, enrollment, or care management workflows.
- Document work in Jira, knowledge articles, test evidence, and technical support records.
- Apply coaching from experienced professionals during structured onboarding and supervised delivery.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of relevant experience, including exposure to application support or healthcare technology.
- Basic proficiency with Jira or similar ticketing and documentation tools.
- Familiarity with healthcare application support or enterprise technology environments.
- Understanding of software testing principles, validation processes, and accurate technical documentation.
- Exposure to Epic terminology, workflows, or healthcare IT concepts.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Experience with Epic modules such as Ambulatory, Healthy Planet, MyChart, Cadence, or Prelude.
- Familiarity with healthcare security, privacy, or compliance requirements.
- Basic SQL or data-querying knowledge for support and validation tasks.
- Experience with software testing or systems analysis in healthcare settings.
- Healthcare orientation or Epic terminology education.
