IT Support Specialist

What you will do

• Manage macOS fleet using Kandji MDM for deployments, policies, and custom OpenVPN setup
• Handle access management including onboarding, offboarding, SSO, and permissions
• Support Slack and Jira IT requests by triaging and resolving issues
• Collaborate with SRE team on infrastructure escalations
• Document runbooks, processes, and internal guides
• Occasionally support Windows and Linux users
• Automate common requests to reduce toil

Requirements

• Solid macOS administration experience including terminal and logs
• Experience with MDM tools like Kandji or Jamf
• Identity and access management with Okta, Google Workspace, SSO
• Comfortable with ambiguity, prioritization, and documentation
• Curious mindset focused on root causes, not just symptoms

Nice to have

• AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code or Copilot
• Docker or containers basics
• Networking fundamentals: VLANs, firewalls, VPN
• Monitoring tools like Grafana or Datadog
• AWS or cloud platforms exposure
• Slack bots, webhooks, or internal tooling projects
• Scripting and automation experience
