Head of RGS Technology (iGaming)

Location: Hybrid in the UK, Malta, or Poland

What you will do

• Provide technical direction and leadership for the RGS engineering team.
• Lead architectural decisions for scalability, reliability, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Own the technical strategy and evolution of the RGS core platform.
• Design and implement real-time jackpot processing and distribution systems.
• Work with Infrastructure, Product, and Solution Architecture stakeholders on deployment, feasibility, estimation, and system design.
• Mentor engineers, lead design reviews and code reviews, support technical hiring, and provide advanced technical support.

Requirements

• Extensive software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
• Strong experience with high-availability and real-time processing systems.
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, containerization, DevOps practices, API design, and integration patterns.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering complex systems.
• Strong understanding of software architecture patterns and engineering best practices.
• Experience in the online gaming industry is essential.
