TL;DR
Head of Engineering (.NET): Leading multiple engineering teams delivering enterprise software used by millions of users, with an accent on platform modernization, cloud transformation, and AI-assisted development. Focus on owning end-to-end delivery, evolving architecture, mentoring engineering leaders, and aligning technical execution with executive and enterprise client needs.
Location: Hybrid, with 2 days per week from the office in Warszawa, Poland
Salary: 28,000–37,000 PLN net per month on a B2B contract, plus ESOPs

What you will do
- Lead and develop multiple engineering teams while ensuring high-quality software delivery and operational excellence.
- Own engineering execution from strategic planning and roadmap development through production releases.
- Drive platform modernization, cloud migration, architecture evolution, and technology standardization.
- Translate business goals into technical execution with Product, Commercial teams, executive leadership, and enterprise clients.
- Mentor engineering managers and technical leads through coaching and organizational development.
- Oversee delivery planning, risk management, continuous improvement, software quality, automation, and AI-assisted development.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading engineering organizations responsible for large-scale enterprise software delivery.
- Strong leadership experience managing multiple engineering teams and scaling organizations.
- Hands-on experience with .NET and C#, plus the ability to review complex technical solutions and architectural decisions.
- Experience leading cloud transformation, modernization, or large-scale platform evolution initiatives.
- Experience with end-to-end software delivery, Agile development, stakeholder management, and executive collaboration.
- Fluent English required; hybrid attendance at the Warszawa office is required 2 days per week.

- Experience in financial services, banking, or other highly regulated industries.
- Familiarity with AI-driven software engineering practices and modern development workflows.
- Experience with on-premises and cloud-based enterprise platforms.
- Experience scaling engineering organizations during rapid business growth.
