What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and support a cross-functional engineering team delivering growth-critical systems and features.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to define scope, prioritize work, and ensure effective execution.
• Provide technical guidance on architecture, implementation decisions, code quality, reliability, and delivery.
• Improve team processes, communication, collaboration, and execution across time zones.
• Partner with engineering leaders across the Growth organization to establish consistent practices.
• Remain hands-on by writing production-grade code and using AI tooling to improve individual and team productivity.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams and delivering high-quality results in collaborative environments.
• Strong people leadership, coaching, organizational, and communication skills.
• Solid technical foundation, especially in backend engineering, including design discussions and code reviews.
• Strong individual contributor background with production-grade coding experience.
• High proficiency in AI-driven development and automation.
• Familiarity with TypeScript, Rust, Go, Python, or similar modern programming languages, plus experience in distributed remote-first teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with analytics, performance or paid marketing, experimentation, or growth tooling.
• Background in developer experience, SDKs, or internal platforms.
• Experience scaling teams or processes during high-growth phases.
