What you will do

• Lead and mentor a gameplay engineering team focused on animation, locomotion, and camera systems.
• Design and implement core gameplay features and engine systems.
• Develop debugging utilities and tools to support gameplay development.
• Collaborate with designers, animators, and QA to deliver cohesive gameplay mechanics.
• Write, maintain, and optimize clean, well-tested C++ code.
• Define technical priorities in collaboration with the Product Owner.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Unreal Engine on AA or AAA projects.
• Proven track record of leading development teams of approximately 7 members.
• Direct experience with locomotion, combat, and camera systems.
• Proficiency in C++ and Unreal Engine 5.
• Credited on at least one shipped AA or AAA title in a lead or management role.
• Strong working proficiency in English.
