Sr. Underwriting Technician

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, United States; hybrid

What you will do

• Support underwriting units throughout the policy lifecycle through data entry, file maintenance, and policy administration tasks.
• Process renewal information and maintain underwriting files to achieve satisfactory completion standards.
• Oversee the submission inbox daily and help clear submissions.
• Support underwriters and team members with complex situations while managing ongoing workload and operational efficiency.
• Meet productivity, quality, and timeliness standards while processing tasks accurately.
• Provide responsive service to internal and external customers and organizational stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in commercial underwriting.
• Insurance knowledge and the ability to learn policy administration and claims systems.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and basic computer skills.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to absorb technical information and interact effectively with all organizational levels.
• United States work authorization for any employer is required; sponsorship is not available.
