VP, Business Development & Controls (Financial Regulatory Analytics)

Location: Hybrid, New York, United States; telecommuting permitted up to 40%

Salary: $170,120–$190,000 per year

What you will do

• Validate models, tools, systems, dashboards, and reports supporting regulatory data and swap dealer and broker-dealer supervision.
• Analyze direct and indirect costs, employee activities, trends, and regulatory requirements to recommend courses of action.
• Develop and enhance analytical tools, reporting systems, dashboards, macros, and automation flows for Markets operations.
• Review and formalize policies and procedures related to analytical and intelligence systems.
• Assess regulatory compliance and operational risks while supporting control-framework design.
• Collaborate with Markets management, Business Managers, Finance and Control, Compliance, Legal, Risk, HR, and senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Management, or a related field.
• Five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the offered role or a related VP Business Development and Controls position.
• Experience drafting concise memoranda, presenting swap dealer regulatory requirements to senior executives, and leading complex financial-product or hedging projects through operational readiness.
• Experience building or assessing macros, data analytics, and automation solutions using KNIME, Power BI, Power Automate, or similar tools.
• Experience with programming languages for data modeling, analytics, and internal or external reporting.
• Knowledge of U.S. swap dealer rules, regulations, financial products, operational risk assessment, and control frameworks.
