Vice President, External Product Specialist (Asset Management)

What you will do

• Establish and manage relationships with external managers and source new alternative investment offerings.
• Structure partnerships, coordinate with legal counsel, and manage negotiations to protect firm and client interests.
• Serve as an alternative investment strategist by analyzing private market trends and providing insights to clients.
• Develop and lead sales and fundraising strategies across various client segments and regions.
• Conduct client portfolio reviews, including alternative portfolio analysis and performance attribution.
• Drive internal business planning, manage revenue models, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the job offered or a related role.
• Proven experience analyzing large datasets using Microsoft Excel to evaluate financial and operational viability.
• Deep knowledge of private markets funds, including private equity, private real estate, and private credit.
• Ability to apply IFRS and GAAP to assess the accuracy of company books and records.
• Must be based in New York, NY and available for approximately 10% domestic travel.
