AVP, Risk Testing Lead

Location: Stamford, Connecticut, United States; hybrid work with required commuting to the nearest hirify.global Hub for in-person meetings, training, and culture events

Salary: $75,000–$130,000 USD annually, plus eligibility for an annual performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Plan and execute independent second-line control testing for hirify.global Bank and hirify.global Financial.
• Assess whether controls mitigate operational, regulatory, and financial risks.
• Document detailed test results according to reperformance standards and required deadlines.
• Identify control gaps, discuss solutions with business stakeholders, and obtain remediation action plans.
• Communicate testing results and status updates to leaders and process owners.
• Challenge risk and control assessments and guide process owners on mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in audit, testing, quality, or another assurance function; alternatively, 7+ years of relevant experience in a financial institution without a degree.
• At least 3 years of experience with banking laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required, with travel of up to 10%.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI to develop testing scripts.
• Knowledge of SAS and Tableau.
• Experience with hirify.global systems of record, data warehouses, or applications supporting credit, deposit, and lease products.
• Experience in client development and sales.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
