Scrum Master

Location: New York City, hybrid, with at least 3 days onsite per week

Salary: USD $100,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog work, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Identify and resolve technical, people-related, and process blockers affecting delivery.
• Work with Product Owners to maintain a clear and sprint-ready backlog.
• Track team velocity and progress, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Protect the team from distractions, additional requests, and interruptions during sprints.
• Turn retrospective feedback into concrete improvements for subsequent sprints.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and CI/CD tools such as XLDeploy and XLRelease.
• Preferred certification: CSM, PSM I/II, or PMI-ACP.
• Must be able to work in the United States; hirify.global does not sponsor U.S. work permits or employment visas.
