Senior Scrum Master (Remote)

Location: Fully remote within the United States

Salary: $175,000–$195,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead the implementation and deployment of Agile solutions across technical teams.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint retrospectives, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and other Scrum ceremonies.
• Mentor and coach Scrum teams in Agile techniques, self-organization, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate multiple Scrum teams and support large-scale enterprise transformation efforts.
• Lead day-to-day activities for the VA Data Modernization initiative, aligning delivery with program goals and timelines.
• Communicate status, next steps, timelines, and action items to stakeholders while ensuring Jira practices remain current and effective.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or commensurate experience.
• 15+ years of experience in business analysis, project management, or a similar role.
• Experience leading multiple Scrum teams and facilitating Scrum ceremonies.
• Experience managing Jira and using Confluence.
• CSM, CSPO, CAPM, or comparable certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a suitability/Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience working in an IT environment and managing PI Planning.
• Experience managing employees and guiding teams toward success.
• ITIL Foundations, ITIL Service Level Management Practitioner, or PMP certification.
• Experience with Agile methodology, Kanban, Microsoft Suite, and AML tools.
