What you will do

• Set strategy and maintain full accountability for global revenue recognition, reporting, and compliance under ASC 606 and US GAAP.
• Lead technical accounting for complex multi-element arrangements, variable consideration, and CECL reserve methodology (ASC 326).
• Optimize revenue accounting in NetSuite ERP using Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) for automation and scalability.
• Manage the Revenue and Deals Desk functions to provide real-time technical guidance on deal structuring and contract review.
• Drive deep revenue analytics, including cohort analysis and ARR/MRR tracking, to support executive decision-making.
• Partner with IT to lead the roadmap for revenue automation and AI adoption to increase reporting efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA certification required.
• 12+ years of progressive revenue accounting experience, including Big 4 public accounting and senior leadership roles at a public company.
• Deep expertise in ASC 606, US GAAP, and preferably ASC 326 (CECL).
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM).
• Ability to independently research, draft, and defend complex accounting memos to auditors and SEC reviewers.
• Proven experience building and scaling global revenue accounting teams.

• MBA or advanced degree.
• Experience with generative AI and AI-assisted analytics for financial workflows.
