Sr. Director, Revenue Accounting & OTC Operations (SaaS)

Location: Remote - US

Salary: $182,600–$295,350 annually by US geographic pay zone, plus a 20% bonus target; RSUs and health, vision, dental, and mental health benefits are provided.

What you will do

• Lead global revenue accounting and OTC operations and shape the controllership roadmap as the company scales.
• Own accounting for revenue streams and commissions, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, metrics, and financial reporting.
• Provide technical revenue recognition guidance to executives and GTM partners while collaborating with Data and FP&A on reporting and forecasting.
• Partner with GTM, Deal Management, Legal, Product, Technology, and business stakeholders on contract structures, approval matrices, ERP enhancements, integrations, and reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls, SOX readiness, process documentation, remediation, and annual external audits for revenue-related areas.
• Build scalable OTC workflows, automation, KPIs, and management reporting while mentoring and developing a high-performing accounting team.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including a mix of Big 4 public accounting and industry leadership experience in a multi-entity, public-company SOX environment.
• Hands-on systems experience improving ERP workflows, reporting, and automation across accounting processes, including NetSuite or a similar ERP, CPQ, and SFDC.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, ASC 606, revenue cycle operations, internal controls, close processes, and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience leading teams through scale, process improvement, and organizational change.
• Experience building and improving OTC cycle operations in a fast-paced SaaS or technology company.
• Demonstrated success driving process transformation through automation, data, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Ability to partner cross-functionally and influence outcomes across Finance, Product, Legal, Sales, and executive leadership without direct authority.
• Strong executive presence, sound judgment, and clear communication with senior leaders and auditors.
• Ability to move between strategic leadership and detailed execution with a high degree of ownership.
