Senior Precision Analog/Power Electronics Engineer

Salary: $82,300–$220,000 annual base salary

What you will do

• Design, specify, develop, simulate, implement, verify, and test analog and power electronics.
• Develop architectures and circuits for power conversion, battery management, wireless power transfer, motor control, analog front ends, signal conditioning, and precision instrumentation.
• Run circuit simulations to validate custom SPICE models against component specifications and collaborate with part and model designers on required modifications.
• Optimize system designs for reduced size, weight, and power while analyzing hardware configurations and conformance to specifications.
• Identify program and system-level technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support multidisciplinary teams, technical communications, business development, and proposal activities while mentoring less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Experience with schematic capture, printed circuit board layout, and circuit simulation using SPICE or comparable tools.
• System modeling and analysis experience using MATLAB, Simulink, or comparable tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, planning, time-management, and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.
