What you will do

• Translate project and system requirements into hardware architectures and support system-level trade studies.
• Design mixed-signal electronics, including schematics, simulations, PCB layouts, sensors, wireless interfaces, and power systems.
• Build, bring up, debug, test, and characterize prototypes and deliverable hardware.
• Prepare manufacturing documentation and provide design support throughout deployment and sustainment.
• Research innovative solutions for miniature, low-power embedded systems and custom electronic packaging.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers, technical partners, management, and project leadership to resolve issues and deliver projects on schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Strong fundamentals in electronic design, electrical analysis, documentation, problem-solving, and technical communication.
• Experience with miniature low-power embedded systems, sensor integration, wireless communication interfaces, and battery conditioning and maintenance.
• Basic experience with microcontroller software in C, C++, or assembly and FPGA firmware using VHDL or Verilog.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience leading engineering teams and developing new products or business opportunities.
• Familiarity with HyperLynx, Ansys, or similar signal and power integrity analysis tools.
• Experience with miniature electronic packaging, bare die, or chip-scale packages.
