Software Engineer (Java/C++)

Salary: $180,000–$221,000 total package compensation.

What you will do

• Evaluate operational software problems and provide immediate solutions to restore service.
• Troubleshoot applications and isolate sources of system errors or unexpected performance.
• Support software application maintenance, documentation, testing, integration, and delivery.
• Integrate and verify new software baselines in operational environments.
• Perform in-depth, end-to-end analysis of complex systems in operations.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• An active and transferable TS/SCI clearance with a U.S. government-issued CI polygraph is required before the start date.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Professional software development experience using Java or C++.
• Experience with software development and/or software integration.
• Ability to support software maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and delivery in a structured operational environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence, Linux/Unix, and SQL.
• Experience with software configuration management systems.
• Experience supporting real-time software applications on an Operations and Maintenance contract.
